Japan Tourist Tax 2026: Departure Charge and What to Check
Japan’s international tourist tax is generally ¥3,000 per departure. Eligible tickets issued on or before 30 June 2026 can qualify for the previous ¥1,000 rate. It is a departure charge, not a nationality-specific visa fee.
